Employee Highlight: William Roche, Senior Account Executive - Civilian

Born and raised in Fairfax County, Virginia, William attended school in Farmville, Virginia and has since moved to Calvert County in Southern Maryland where he currently resides with his wife.

When he's not working, William enjoys being outdoors, spending time on the water, camping, hiking and playing with his two dogs.

William's career in Federal IT started in 2013 as a procurement specialist. After about one year, he transitioned to sales and has moved from sales support to Account Executive in that time.

What do you enjoy about your job?

I enjoy being part of something, feeling that what I am doing is important and that my contributions can make a difference to FRC. I came here because I wanted a challenge, and I wanted to work for an organization that shared my values and morals. In the end, I wanted to feel that I was needed and could contribute, I wanted to be part of a family. I believe that is what I have found here at FRC, and that brings me a lot of joy.

What is your current role?

I am one of the Account Executives for the Civilian sales team, my primary job is find ways we can use our expertise and relationships to further the missions of the Federal Agencies I support. Today a big part of my job is developing new relationships, I hope as time goes on I will have the opportunity to take on more responsibility at FRC and contribute in other ways.

What are your future plans?

My future plans are pretty loose today, but I know that as long as I am in the Federal space I will be committed to supporting my customers and FRC. Ideally, I will have the opportunity to support FRC for many years, and in a number of different ways. When I moved here, I was looking for a home and now I want to be part of building that home up.

Personally, my wife and I want to start our own company in real estate one day, have a few kids, do some traveling, and enjoy our time together.
