With seven years’ experience supporting and building best practices in recruiting, sales, operations, and strategic program management, Emily is focused on driving thoughtful solutions for customers and their specialized missions.
Raised in New Jersey but with strong family roots in Erie, Emily started her career in recruiting for an aerospace and defense company in Cleveland, Ohio – not far from her alma mater, John Carroll University. When she made the move to Washington, D.C., she transitioned into the Federal Government Sales industry as an Account Executive supporting strategic cloud and cybersecurity programs for Civilian Agencies.
Two years ago, Emily returned to Erie with her husband and daughter to get away from the DC commute, live closer to family and build an Inside Sales Organization for FRC as the Sales Director.
In her free time, you can find Emily playing tennis.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I am grateful for the opportunity to develop a sales career program and new jobs for Erie professionals. I love watching my team’s growth and enthusiasm for their job translate into personal success. Information Technology is always changing and evolving which makes for a very dynamic industry specifically when applied to addressing government agency missions.
What is your current role?
I wear many hats at FRC but my main responsibility is to drive sales, learning and positive customer experiences from our Inside Sales Team out of our Erie HQ. , I support, train, and guide my team through the government sales cycle to drive mission results and book business. I also act as an interface between Sales Leadership and our Partners to drive customer relationships and growth.
What are your future plans?
I am working on a formalized Sales Training program with the goal of growing our sales team into trusted technical advisors as Account Executives from our Erie office.
Erie promotes has such a strong community and high quality of life. I want to see our HQ continue to grow and provide more young professionals the opportunity to return and settle in Erie with their families.
