Angela, an Erie native, received her bachelor’s degree in communications from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania and has primarily worked in the human resources industry for more than 16 years. Following her graduation from Edinboro, her desire to relocate to New York City paved the way for a recruiting role with a Manhattan staffing firm. After spending several years in the recruiting industry, Angela and her husband Daniel relocated to Albuquerque, N.M. where she provided HR support in various capacities in the federal contracting space. Shortly after their daughter was born, Angela and her family moved back to Erie, where she now resides. Angela currently maintains an active PHR certification from the HR Certification Institute and is SHRM-CP certified by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
What is your current role?
I am the Director of Human Resources for FRC. My current focus is to lay the groundwork for human resources and build upon this foundation to establish a strategic and efficient HR function that supports the long-term objectives of the company.
What do you enjoy about your job?
I enjoy the fantastic team of people I get the privilege of working with. We have a stellar team of bright and dedicated people here at FRC and it’s a joy to work alongside them! I want to help foster a work environment where our employees feel good about the work they do because making a positive impact means a great deal to me.
What are your future plans?
I’m looking forward to launching a variety of programs and initiatives that cultivate a positive and collaborative work environment. I am equally as excited to be a part of the partnerships that FRC develops within our local community. Working to create and maintain family-sustaining jobs right here in Erie is something that is especially near and dear to my heart!
