FRC Celebrates Recent Business Achievements

USAMITIC MEDNOSC

FRC received a new subcontract with TKC Global Solutions to provide network security in support of the United States Army Medical Information Technology Center (USAMITC) in San Antonio, TX. Under this contract FRC will provides seasoned network enterprise personnel to support the Medical Network Operation Security Center (MEDNOSC). The MEDNOSC operates, sustains, and defends the Army’s portion of the Global Information Grid (GIG) / LandWarNet, which enables Medical Care worldwide. There are four interdependent tasks that FRC will support, Enterprise System & Network Management, Information Assurance & Computer Network Defense, Content Staging & Information Dissemination Management, and Infrastructure Deployment. Our team will provide the support required to ensure a secure and centrally managed environment for local, AMEDD, MHS, and DoD Systems and provides desktop application and hardware support. USAMITC offers full life cycle management support for information systems and services for the AMEDD, the Military Health System (MHS), and other Government clients. This sub-contract replaces the previous sub-contracts FRC had with Harris IT Solutions and Avaya Government Solutions.

LAN/WLAN

Team Harris IT/FRC was selected by U.S. Information Systems Engineering Command - Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate as the winner of the LAN/WLAN upgrade contract to both wired and wireless network of all DOD Military Treatment Facilities (MTF) worldwide. As part of our mission, FRC provides survey, assessment and design of the MTF LAN/WLAN, ILOM/ELOM Procurement / Distribution / Inventory, installation & integration, testing & evaluation, and cutover & closeout/as-built drawings for the LAN/WLAN. This work will be in direct support of the U.S. Army Information Systems Engineering Command (USAISEC), Fort Detrick Engineering Directorate (FDED) located at Fort Detrick, MD. These tasks include: site surveys of MTFs with their associated satellite and remote facilities, testing during the site survey of legacy copper and fiber cable for reuse in new design, engineering design, and installation of LAN/WLAN infrastructure, system integration, engineering documentation, configuration management, quality control, quality assurance and testing of installed infrastructure and both installation and electronic lists of material (I/ELOM) procurement and handling.

ICDB

FRC won a 5 year contract under CACI supporting the Air Force Integrated Clinical Database (ICDB) in San Antonio, TX. FRC will provide worldwidesustainment support to both CONUS and OCONUS of the ICDB Program. Our team of experts providing business analysis, functional analysis, incident analysis & repair, and development testing support as part of its Tier II functions. In addition, the ICDB Sustainment Team installs system enhancements and independently developed modules in support of the end-user’s functional needs. The FRC Sustainment Team also remotely provides System Administration (SA), Oracle Database Administration (DBA), Security Auditing, Antivirus Protection, and Time Compliance Network Order (TCNO)/ Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) Protection. Additionally, the team manages all deployment activities, resolving Composite Health Care Computer System (CHCS) data interface issues, CHCS Historical Data pulls/loads, and HL7 messaging support. This support requires high level information security. Our team compiles DIACAP network accreditation for government reporting; and implements and tracks compliance with network security directives.
